Ministers commit to zero net deforestation by 2020

Ministers from 67 countries have signed on to WWF's call for zero net deforestation by 2020. The ministers showed their commitment to stop forest loss to safeguard biodiversity, global climate and people's well-being at a WWF event held during the  9th Conference of Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP9) in Bonn.
